SPORZOL
Itraconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug, a synthetic triazole. It acts by inhibiting the production of cytochrome and ergosterol in fungal cells. Cytochrome and ergosterol are important components of cell membranes. When this ergosterol production system is disrupted, the fungus is destroyed.
